Fully tutored online whiskey tastings. We ship miniature bottles of our favourite Irish whiskey brands to you and your guests, and we meet online for some fun. The tasting itself is delivered from the Whiskey Island Bar, by John Callely Jr. who brings to life the stories of the whiskeys being sampled, along with the overall story of Irish whiskey. The event takes place at an agreed time/date, online on your meetings platform, or ours – whatever suits you best.
MALAHIDE CASTLE TOUR & TASTING
A whiskey tasting in a 12th century Irish castle.. it doesn’t get any more authentic than that, does it?
Every Saturday in Malahide Castle & Gardens (40 minutes from downtown Dublin), the 5pm tour is an extra special tour. A castle guide will lead you on a tour of the 800-year-old castle, and you will finish downstairs in the castle where a five-part whiskey tasting awaits you. A Whiskey Island Specialist leads the tasting and you sample a vast array of local Irish whiskeys.

WOW! What a truly memorable highlight of our recent trip to Dublin.John we cannot thank you enough.My wife and I had only a brief time in Dublin and wanted the ‘Whiskey Experience’ so John agreed to meet us in our accommodation and gave us an amazing private tasting.The occasion was relaxing,enriching and so much fun.
John had brought along a range of American,Irish and Scottish whiskeys which he introduced to us one by one.We were very impressed by his expert knowledge of the whiskey industry but it was his engaging and warm personality,his Irish charm,the ‘craic’ with his love of his country’s culture and history which made this a night to remember.When we said our farewells we felt we had become friends not clients.
In the airport ‘duty free’ we felt like experts when buying a couple of bottles.We hope to return one day in the near future to take one of John’s ‘Whiskey Tours’.
