WHISKEY TASTING FOR PARTIES AND
FLAGSHIP COMPARATIVE WHISKEY TASTING
For large groups and corporate events, our Flagship Comparative Whiskey Tasting is ideal. It includes a tutored tasting of three whiskeys. We explain the process of making Irish whiskey by use of props, and how the process differs in Scotland and the US. We reward all tasters with certificates acknowledging their new status as qualified Irish whiskey tasters – signed by your Whiskey Island Tutor to make it all legal! Tasting includes a delicious whiskey liqueur to start.
(Minimum 50 guests/no maximum.)
ALL IRELAND COMPARATIVE WHISKEY TASTING
Our Extended Comparative Whiskey Tasting is great for smaller gatherings as the settings are right for lively discussion and guests tend to ask lots of questions (which we love!) We deliver a tutored tasting of five premium Irish Whiskeys from all over Ireland. We’ll give you the background on each brand and we’ll showcase different styles of whiskey. Includes personalised ‘Qualified Whiskey Taster’ diplomas and a special signature Whiskey Island cocktail to start. Guests enjoy the cocktail while we begin the dramatic story of Irish whiskey.
(Minimum 10/maximum 50 guests.)
TOP-SHELF COMPARATIVE WHISKEY TASTING
At our Topshelf Comparative Whiskey Tasting, we cherry pick some of Ireland’s most deluxe, hard-to-find, superior whiskeys. We showcase five Irish whiskeys at this tasting, whiskeys that are guaranteed to please and to convert those life long premium Scotch drinkers! This tasting is a perfect post-conference activity, before or after dinner, and it works very well at drinks receptions. We present guests with personalised ‘Qualified Irish Whiskey Taster’ diplomas and we serve our signature Whiskey Island cocktail to start. Available nationwide.
(Minimum 10/maximum 50 guests.)
SUPER HIGH-END WHISKEY TASTING
Right now, we have some very rare whiskeys in our collection… some Midleton Very Rare from the 90s, Bushmills Single Malt that was distilled as far back as 1975, some limited edition Teeling Whiskey and some lovely aged pot still whiskeys. You won’t find these whiskeys in the shops, they’re straight from the auction house! We can do a very special ultra-premium tasting using our rare Irish whiskeys and comparing with a topshelf Bourbon and a rare Scotch.
This tasting is booked frequently by golfers, and multi-generational families who want to sample the rarest Irish whiskey, while in Ireland.
(Minimum 1/maximum 10 guests.)
IRISH CRAFT GIN
The Irish craft gin boom is closely aligned to the Irish whiskey renaissance. It is important to pay tribute to it! And so, we have put together The Irish Gin Story – Tutored Gin Sampling Experience. We introduce you to a selection of delicious gins, hand-picked from distilleries across the four corners of Ireland. Contact us for more information.
