Three Day Whiskey Tour through @irelandsancienteast & @irelandshiddenheartlands with a small group of die hard whiskey fans. They’ve visited 30 distilleries in Scotland over the years and after very memorable visits to @powerscourtdistilleryltd @ballykeefedistillery @waterforddistillery @midletondistilleryexperience and @tullamoredew , they’ve already confirmed they’ll be back to Ireland soon for another trail ! Overnights @lyrathestate & @fotaislandresort were icing on the cake , and a parting glass @seansbar was a great way to finish 👌

This Saturday , March 23rd, the Malahide Castle Tour & Whiskey Tasting returns ! Beginning at 5pm , we start with a tour of the 800 year old castle with the brilliant castle guides before arriving downstairs for a 5-part whiskey tasting with a tutor from Whiskey Island . This season , the whiskeys we feature at the tasting include : the hugely popular liqueur from @thewhistlerwhiskeyus , @bushmillsirl 10YO single malt, @ballykeefedistillery single pot still , Bart’s complex blend from @loughreedistill & the delicious @lambaywhiskey small batch blend. We showcase this Irish Honey Liqueur from @whistlerwhiskey quite a lot at our private whiskey events as it's always such a big hit. We find it's a great one to kick our tastings off with and it is a big treat for those in our audiences who are not overly experienced #IrishWhiskey drinkers. This pic was sent overnight from a recent guest at one of our tastings, he managed to pick up a few bottles before departing back home to the USA last week.
