Our virtual tasting experiences are available for groups, privately and are ideal for companies looking to enhance an online event, be it a social event for staff or new product launch for clients. We connect with hundreds of guests online each year and our tasting experiences suit online platforms perfectly, just look at the reviews below!

Once we receive your booking, we source the required amount of whiskey for your delegates (each bottle is 50 milliliters/airplane mini). We source a nice mix of whiskey – some well-established brands and some ‘new wave’ whiskeys. We also incorporate as many different styles as possible so there’s nice diversity across the tastes. We ensure that the whiskeys we use enhance and complement the story that we like to deliver – the fascinating story of Irish whiskey through the ages.

We then package the whiskey into tasting kits and they are ready to be shipped to your guests, wherever your guests may be. We can ship the kits all over Ireland, the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand…and many more… it’s a long list as to where we can ship! But there are some countries that we can’t ship to due to strict customs laws (Canada, South America & Russia for example).

We are still shipping to the UK post Brexit. We take care of all import duties and taxes on alcohol – your guests will never be asked to pay taxes to release the whiskey, we have it all covered.

The tasting itself is delivered from the Whiskey Island Bar, by John Callely Jr. who brings to life the stories of the whiskeys being sampled, along with the overall story of Irish whiskey. The event takes place at an agreed time/date, online on your meetings platform, or ours – whatever suits you best.

We cater for all interest levels and we make whiskey accessible to all. They are easy-going experiences and they enable your guests to learn something new. We invite plenty of chat and we love lots of questions!

Along with the miniature bottles of whiskey that we package up for clients, we can also add in a nice assortment of Irish chocolates. We can also organise for your company logo to be etched onto a shipment of Irish whiskey glasses and included in the whiskey pack sent to your guests.

We accept payment by corporate credit card; AMEX, Visa, Mastercard, Discover (subject to 3.5% – 5.5% fee).

FOR OUR FRIENDS IN THE USA...

We have developed a new virtual whiskey tasting especially for audiences in the USA. We ship gift sets of Jameson and Teeling whiskey families (some great whiskeys that lend themselves well to the Irish whiskey story) and we a deliver a fully tutored tasting based on these whiskeys. We also include a cocktail demonstration where we show our guests how to make some delicious Irish whiskey cocktails. Plus, we have enjoyed mastering the art of Irish coffee making through the years – we’ll show you how the perfect Irish coffee can be made in your kitchen at home!

VIRTUAL IRISH GIN TASTINGS

There has been many a ‘Gin Craze’ around the world through the ages, but nothing quite compares to the hype around Irish Gin today! There are over 20 distilleries in Ireland producing Irish gin and we are delighted to showcase a number of these brands at our virtual gin tastings.

We take you back in time to when gin (or ‘genever’ as it was first called) was first making an impression on the world in the Low Countries (modern day Holland/Belgium and parts of France). We take you through the fascinating story of the drink covering all aspects of the gin world – did you know that those who first added tonic water to gin did so for medicinal purposes? (to fight malaria). We also tell you about the Irish gin producers who are making some really delicious expressions of artisan Irish distilled gin.
